#11 Money talks but keep quiet

In business their are ups and downs, some months you have high profits and other months you can't make salaries.  This post is to advise you not to get caught up in the short term profits. Three or six months of success does not warrant a two week all inclusive trip to a foreign country.  This is one of the mistakes young business owners make and struggle to bounce back from.  I conducted an interview with two young business owners who started off with high profits.  They both admitted they spent their money on the aesthetics of their business rather income generating ventures or assets. These choices less than three years after caused them great regret.  One of the business owners had to close down his business and the other is contemplating selling off the furniture to stay afloat. All monies spent from your business must be calculated on the premise of returns,  a business sole purpose to remain profitable at all times.  In conclusion, a wise business owner understands that money spent must tie in with goals and vision of the business in the long run.
